1. Reader Privacy
Our editorial website is designed for calm, uninterrupted reading:
- No Accounts or Paywalls: You do not need to register, create an account, or share personal credentials to read our companion essays or explore our book catalogue.
- No Behavioral Tracking: We do not track individual reading behavior across pages or compile profiles on reader attention.
- No Data Brokering: We do not sell, rent, or trade reader information or inquiries to third parties or advertising networks.
2. Book Purchases & Fulfillment
Thinking Session books are printed and distributed through authorized retail partners, primarily Amazon:
- When you select “Order on Amazon”, you navigate to Amazon's platform, where transaction processing, order fulfillment, shipping, and payment security are governed entirely by Amazon's Privacy Notice.
- Thinking Session does not see, collect, or store your credit card details, billing addresses, or personal payment credentials.
3. Website Analytics & Infrastructure
To keep the website reliable, fast, and secure, minimal operational data is processed:
- Aggregated Operational Analytics: We measure aggregated traffic metrics (such as page view totals and referrer domains) via Google Analytics to ensure site reliability and understand interest in our publications. We do not track individual reader identities, cross-site profiles, or personal browsing habits.
- Hosting & Security: Website files are hosted via Cloudflare. Standard server logs (such as IP addresses and browser user-agent strings) are processed transiently for caching, DDoS protection, and site security.
